Regional Characteristics

Osaka Castle was built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who unified Japan in the 16th century, and it is packed with magnificent architectural techniques and art from that time. From the castle tower, you can see a panoramic view of Osaka City, and in particular, during the cherry blossom season, the area around the castle is dyed pink, creating a fantastic view. There is also a museum in the castle, where you can learn more about Japanese history through historical exhibits and videos. Access
In Sennan City, we would like to recommend the fishing experience at the fishing pond, Southern.
The access is very convenient, and it is only 10 minutes by car (taxi) from the nearest station, Tarui Station. You can also easily reach the fishing pond by train. Since it is easy to get there by train, it is also perfect as a little adventure in between trips.
Features
The marine fishing pond is an experience where you can enjoy fishing for farmed fish that have been raised in an offshore fish pen. Although it is on the sea, it is close to the shore and the waves are calm, so there is no need to worry about seasickness.
Above all, there are always big fish in the fish pen, and in addition, new fish that are hungry are regularly released, so the fish pen is packed with fish!
Depending on the size and conditions of the sea fishing pond, it is also possible to hire it out for private use with your family, etc., so if you are worried about other people’s eyes on you, it is also worth considering hiring it out.
