How does a day’s fishing flow? Have a great day!

JP Fishing

Let’s take a look at the general daily routine of a day out fishing!
There are various times for fishing, but I’ll describe the general pattern of leaving early in the morning!

4:30 Wake up – The morning when the fishing adventure begins

It’s 4:30 in the morning, and there’s still a hint of night in the air. As soon as the alarm goes off, a sense of excitement spreads from the depths of my chest. The plan for today’s fishing comes to mind, and the sleepiness disappears in an instant. I prepare my fishing gear and get changed. I have a quick, light breakfast, imagining the fun that awaits me for the day ahead. In the morning quiet, the air outside is cool, and I can feel that today is going to be a special day.

5:00 Departure in the taxi that has come to pick you up – the start of the trip

At exactly 5:00, the taxi’s lights shine on the front porch. The driver says “Good morning!” cheerfully. The taxi quietly departs, with the sleepy town still on the side of the road. The destination is the pier. As you head to the fishing spot for the day, your heart dances with anticipation as you reconfirm your fishing plans in the car. Just imagining what kind of fish I’ll catch today and what kind of day it will be makes me smile.

5:30 Don’t forget to pick up some snacks and water at the convenience store – replenish your energy

On the way to the fishing spot, I stop by a nearby convenience store at 5:30. The bright lights of the convenience store feel warm in the still-dusky sky. Here, I make sure to pick up some snacks and water. Hydration is essential while fishing, and a light snack is important for maintaining your energy levels. While picking up onigiri (rice balls), bread and energy drinks, I also enjoy chatting with the shop assistant. Just thinking about snack time at the fishing spot makes me even more excited.

6:00 We arrive at the boat dock and it’s time to board! – The start of the adventure

By the time the taxi arrives at the pier, the sky is finally beginning to brighten. The boats around you are rocking on the water, as if welcoming you on your adventure for the day. You greet the captain and climb aboard. The sea breeze brushes your cheeks, and you find yourself forgetting about your everyday life for a moment.
The boat sets off, cutting through the waves as it heads out to sea. Depending on the season, the morning is a particularly good time for fishing. As you look out over the sea, you think about the fish you’re going to catch, and prepare your fishing rod. As you face the sea with your fishing rod in hand, time begins to flow slowly. The joy of hooking a fish, the silence of the sea, the sound of the waves. All of these are special experiences. In the moment you enjoy fishing, you feel a sense of oneness with nature.

12:00 Return to the boat – the results of your fishing and a pleasant sense of fatigue

Before you know it, the clock is pointing to 12 o’clock. You’ve been fishing since the morning and completely lost track of time. You check the fish you’ve caught and share your catch with the captain and your fellow anglers. I wonder what kind of fish we’ve caught today? As soon as I get back to the boat landing and get off the boat, I feel a pleasant sense of fatigue wash over me.

The captain’s voice rings in my ears as he says, “Thank you for your hard work! Then I get back into the taxi and head for my next destination, the restaurant. Just thinking about how I’m going to have the fish I caught cooked makes me excited again.

13:00 Taking the fish to the restaurant and preparing it for cooking – the moment the fish becomes a dish

At 1pm, I arrive at the restaurant. I hand the fresh fish I’ve just caught to the chef. I decide to wait for a while, following the advice of the staff member who told me to come back in a little while. From here, we’ll put the fun on hold for a while and move on to something else. If the restaurant cooked the fish on the spot, we could enjoy it straight away, but today we’ll be visiting a little later.

14:00 Refresh yourself at a public bath – soothe away your fatigue and have a nap!

To make sure you get all the rest you need after a day of fishing, we recommend stopping by a nearby public bath. The sensation of the warm water enveloping your whole body and gradually relaxing the muscles you used while fishing is truly blissful. When you feel lighter, move to the free rest area.
The best thing to do here is to have a nice nap. The pleasant tiredness you feel after fishing combined with the relaxing effects of the hot spring will surely lull you into a deep sleep. Even a short nap will help you recover your strength, so you’ll be refreshed and ready for dinner. After a short nap, you’ll be even more energized and able to enjoy the delicious fish dishes of the evening to your heart’s content!

17:00 Cooking at the restaurant – Enjoying the fish you caught yourself

Now that you’ve refreshed yourself, it’s time to go back to the restaurant at 5pm. The fish you caught yourself, carefully prepared by the chef, will be laid out in front of you. Fresh sashimi, grilled fish, and simmered fish. The ingredients are transformed into lively dishes, and the taste is exceptional. Especially because it is fish you caught yourself, the deliciousness of the fish is all the more apparent.

18:00 – Enjoying the memories of the day’s fishing over a delicious drink

As you enjoy the drinks that go well with the food, you talk about the day’s fishing. As the drinks go down, the fishing stories get more and more exciting, and plans for the next fishing trip naturally start to form. You forget about the time as you are impressed by the deliciousness of the fish you caught.

21:00 – Arrive at the hotel – the perfect end to a perfect day

At 9pm, you arrive at the hotel. As you look back on the day, you sink into bed with a sense of satisfaction. The contact with nature, the excitement of fishing, the delicious food, and the relaxing time at the public bath. As you feel that everything was a fulfilling day, you fall into a comfortable sleep.

Finally

What I’ve described here is the general flow of fishing.
The time to go fishing may be in the afternoon, and it depends on the boat and the fish you want to catch.
